The Romulator isn't necessary but will save time. I've been using the epromer 6 from USTR.net. Suits my needs.

I have the Xtronics ROM burner as well as the ROMulator. If you are just going to be doing casual tuning on your own vehicle the ROMulator isnt necesary..if you are going to be tuning your buddy's cars at sometime though it will be a big help.

I have heard good things about the BURN1 and its a major plus that is it USB powered.

well we just got done tuning my car today. its still not perfect. the vac maps are perfect and so is the boost map form like 5psi to 10, but the transition from 0 to 5psi is harsh. my car bogs really bad and the wideband says 10.0:1. so obivously its rich. no matter waht section we take fuel away from it still doesnt help. its kinda anoying, but it will do till i get my wideband and ---- together so i can sit down and tune it well myself. and chris ill probably be having some questions for you once i get my stuff hooked up
