tuning for vaccume
i keep hearing that rather you use TE or UBER or whatever that its harder to tune the vaccume aeas than the boost areas, this just doesnt make sence to me because if when you create a base map and your starting with a stock bin file the vaccume areas should be the same as they were stock right? whats wrong with stock fuel and timing in vaccume? someone shed some light please

Re:tuning for vaccume
duhhhhh im an idiot lol but heres another question, enough people are using te and uber now that for example my set up will be a pm6 with 450's, now for damn sure there enough people using pm6's and 450's on there 1.6 or 1.8's that someone has already made a bin file that has good timing and fuel maps for vaccum, good enough that the vaccum section shouldnt need tuned...xenocron has my pm6 chipping it and making me a base map right now....where you at xenocron...will the tuning in vaccum be good to go on my base map or will it need tuned more?

Re:tuning for vaccume
i don't think the question has been fully answered yet, regarding the larger injectors, wouldn't that only affect the fuel maps. What about ignition maps? most of the turbo maps i've seen for TE have more advanced timing on vacum compared to stock, why is that? also what exactly do the FUEL map values mean?

Timing maps shouldnt be touched unless on a dyno and you know how to read plugs or have a good knock monitor.
it is a basemap, calculated mathematically to run close.
I wish more people would post their tuned maps on my site (sticky at the top of this forum) but there isnt a lot there)
Someday maybe...
