Default Tuner recommendations near SW North Dakota...

Hey, I am getting near the end of my turbo setup and am looking for a tuner near me. I live in Dickinson, North Dakota. I have a d16y8, built bottom end, rebuilt oem head, and a precision sc50. I am planning on sending a spare p06 to be chipped and set up with a basemap to xenocron, once I know what it is going to be tuned with. I would like to have it tuned with crome, crome pro, or uberdata; something on the cheap end. Basically looking for referalls for someone near me, would be willing to go to Mineapolis, but would rather have someone closer tune it. Want it to be dyno tuned. One of my friends recommended Andy at DynotuneUsa (watertown, sd), but I would like opinions. Any and all opinions appreciated, thanks. Paul

andy from watertown is a good choice. Other choices would be in minneapolis or sioux falls. I can't think of their names or shops specifically off the top of my head. I'll try to figure out who they are and let you know though.

Thanks, I'v been trying to get a hold of andy and keep gettin his voicemail, i'll try again tommorow, and if he doesn't answer i'll leave a voicemail. I didn't even know there was a shop in sioux falls, crazy. There is a dyno in bismarck, g4 motorsports, i think, but they are relatively new, and don't feel all that safe trusting them with my car. Andy tuned my buddys mustang gt a year or two back, made pretty good numbers for stock internals+ d1 supercharger. (360ishhp 370 tq) He's been pulling fairly constant 8.3's on dr's. meh, thanks again.

sioux falls doesnt tune with crome ... however the shop owner joey has a couple friends that can tune it with crome but they are obviously not insured by the company .. sublime in omaha charge's 150 for an hour of dyno time and to tune it ... so thats not bad imo ...

Talked to andy briefly, basically said he'd give me a call back, sounds really busy. Talked to my buddy who had his gt tuned by andy a while back, and he's been having trouble getting ahold of him to tune his 5.0...sooo yeah, sounds like he's too busy. Called db motorsports, talked to them. They were pretty adamant about how they "..would not reccomend tuning any boosted setup with crome or uberdata, had too many problems with them.." Basically told me i'd have to buy an S100 if i wanted them to tune my civic. Than they want double to tune a chip for racegas, he said expect a $1000 bill... ...said i'd call him back. Pretty much bs. Heard locally that a kid from bismarck is flying someone from topspeedsales.com in from georgia to tune his wrx. Guy said he'd tune just about any other car for $350, only thing is it'd be just a street tune, and he said he tuned stand alones, never mentioned anything else. One of my friends who has a nothernanimations acct is going to pm him. Thanks for the replies, Im going to try excessive auto in sioux falls tomm, see what the word there is...

I would highly recommend someone in the cities. I had him dyno mine just for baseline and he didn't really seem to know too much about imports, at least not as much as the shops in the cities. I had Ron at RS motors in Burnsville tune mine and it was perfect, very happy. And then i hear really good things about Shane at DB performance, and Jordan at Consumate tuning. I think i am going to have Jordan do my new set up and see how that goes, but i think any of them will be great.
