Default TE throwing code 8 TDC , help please.

Hi.

Iam in need of help on setting a turbo edit basemap, i have follow everything on this site http://www.-------------/te.php?page=basemap and thats where i bought my chipped pm6 aswell.

The problem i have is when i finish setting up the map and burned it with William burner it will throw a code 8 "TDC"
i erase and burn about 5 times, with no hopes, so i burned the stock PM6 map and it work just as normal as a stock pm6 would.

I reset the ecu everytime i reburn the map buy taking out the hazard fuse and positive battery.

I have read https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...threadid=35497 and it works great, it fully write the chip and verified it.

Help please...

If anyone can make me a simple basemap for my setup like xenocron setup so i can see if its still does that and if im doing something wrong.

I tried with NG60 ,NG55 with pm6 and pr4 , turbo edit 2.6

thank you.

Car: crx si ls turbo.

hop on xenocrons bin depository and find a close base map and see if that would work, also try diff. software like flash/burn or something.

A code 8 is not a problem with the chip...its a problem with the distributor or the wiring to the distributor.

Exactly what this man said. If your running turboedit, your wiring at the distributor is more than likely stock. If this is so there is a sensor all the way at the bottom of your distributor that has went bad. Follow the white with blue strip, and orange with blue strip wires to the sensor. If you have a spare distributor you can fix it yourself. For some reason ive done this to many times
