TE Romulator
I was wondering if any eeprom emulator will work with TE because I saw a cheap one at http://www.futurlec.com/EPROMEmulator.shtml
and its about $100 cheaper than the romulator.
Thanks for spending all your time helping the rest of us tune are cars better.

Re:TE Romulator
That one seems to emulate the proper chip(27c256)...but Im afraid the commands coming out of TE to the ECU might have to be changed a touch.
I'm sure Jason would add support if he could...someone would just have to lend him the unit for a bit...
Maybe it will already work...Jason would have to let us know though.

Re:TE Romulator
some emulators like that really aren't fast enough to keep up with EFI computers constantly polling the rom.
it would be worth it to at least try maybe; if it worked you could stock up on those and proffit like a ****

Re:TE Romulator
On the topic of RTP....Jason, did you ever get your PGMFI RTP Board together and running yet?
I ordered parts from DigiKey this week...I'm hoping I got the right stuff and I will be soldering it up shortly.
Just curious...

Re:TE Romulator
From what I have been told.. there isn't serial code that works 100%.
The ECU is dropping packets from what I hear.. :hrug::
I have been working on my race car.. no time to keep up with all of the forums just yet.
