Default Switching to newer version of TE

if my pm6 ecu is already chipped with with an older version of TE try9, is there anything i need to do to switch to the newer version of TE try11 or can i just read and burn over/make changes the same? is there any methods i should go about to switch?

The ECU has nothing to do with TurboEdit. The ECU runs on a "file" that TurboEdit is able to modify. If that BIN file was created with an older version of TurboEdit. It would make sense to use the latest BIN file version (currently NG4.

You may have to retune however, so dont just go running the newer BIN on your old maps.
