for some reason if i try to hold the rpm's at like 3000 rpm with the clutch in...every few seconds it drops to 2000 then back to 3000....almost like a rev control or somethin....any ideas

This is a 99 civic si with a vortech supercharger by the way

 

thinking your idel sensor went bad on you its in the back of the intake manifold try to get a new one and try that. that happend to my civic hb after i put my turbo on then i replaced it and works fine now.

 

What does it look like?
