Default starting problems with dsm and SMC??

i installed my dsm 450s and my SMC today. at first it started on the first crank..but now it takes a couple of cranks to just get it started ...is it the injectors that are causing this?? how do i fix it?

Welcome to the world of larger injectors..

..it's a characteristic due to the latency (time it takes to open and close the injector) of the larger CC injectors. Personally, I had forgotten it took a minute to crank over until I threw this LS I had laying around in. I kept the 240cc injectors in and there is an amazing difference.

Sorry..

can anyone add to this?

just wanted to hear some more opinions,
is it really just a natural part of the 450's to take a while to start?
