Default S-AFCI or S-AFCII???

I have a 88 civic se and have a dohc zc swap in it, i plan to do a shitload to this car and was wondering if anyone knew which one of these is worth the best money?

I can get the 2nd one for 80$ more than the first, but have not come across anyone that knows what the major difference is between the two yet.

Thanks in advance for any help guys.

BTW this is my first post and im from toronto

You looked and found nothing?

It took me like 10 seconds to find that link about the safc 2 and it was on the third page of the engine management section. Read then ask questions about what you don't understand. I would also go with the safc 2, but if I found a great deal on a used safc 1 I probably wouldn't pass that up.

It's not that i coudn't find the thread, i am pretty familiar with forums. It's the point that i coudn't find someone that knew anything about them.....I am picking up a safcI because i don't need differrent settings right now and the second one really has no options that i will use or need. Plus i hate the stick to control it.

I ha ve had both the safc and the safc2 and I love the safc 2 soooooo much more. You can adjust the rpm increments in 500 instead of 1000 and it looks so much better. The stick on the safc2 is actually really easy to use and is good for moving quick through the menus. I definetly vote for the safc2.

Yeah, the stick is really easy to use. Great for changing the settings while your cruising.

SAFC II RPM increments are 200 instead of 500 like the SAFC I.
