rywire obdo to obd1 conversion kit with vtec/4 wire sensor now code 6

purchased rywire obdo to obd1 kit with vtec and now i get code 6. remove kit and reinstall my pm6 and no code and runs fine.

Code 6 is ECT or water temp sensor... Maybe theres a mistake in the harness. Rywire makes a damned good product but I've had my share of accidental swapped wires.

You do realize that you need to change the distributor as well as the ECU?

You make it seem like all it lets you do is swap ECUs...

and i know the person who makes them for rywire, he is a very good friend of mine, and i know for a fact that they are tested on a board to make sure all the outputs are correct, i would be willing to say its something on your car and not in the harness, but if you feel it is the harness after 100% of checking all your stuff over, send it back and they will send you a new one
