Running WAY rich with afc, what are my options?---PROBLEM SOLVED---

Ok, tried to get it dyno tuned, but the guy there was a real prick and didn't like my HMT, said it was unsafe the way I had it set up. I ran two baseline tests and my a/f was in the 9:1 to 10:1 ratio all the way across the board. My afc settings are lo -50% at idle and slowly increasing to -40% at full throttle and my hi settings are -40% all the way across. I have a d16z6, a-afc, dsm 450, stock fuel pump, brand new O2 sensor, no check valves, 8-10 psi. What are my options, Should I sell the afc and get a uberdata, or maybe getting an adjustable fuel regulator? Maybe going back to stock injectors, or maybe like 330cc ones. Is everyone else that has this set up with afc hack running way to rich too and they just don't know it?

Whoa whoa whoa whoa...

Your setting a re EXTREMELY dangerous. I don't care what your AFR from the hick dyno guy said.

Your flow rate is physically LESS than stock pulse durations at the same MAP value. You have issues, and they're going to cause you to blow your ring lands away.

Read the Engine Management FAQ, section 2, question 4.

I looked at the read outs from the wideband and it said I was rich, I can even smell my gas out of my muffler like crazy! I went to a import dyno place that do this for a living, and the wideband can't be THAAT far off.

I'm wondering if my s-acf isn't working right. I checked all the wiring and it's all done right, the connections are great, (sodered) and everything seems to work fine, it's like it dosn't tell my egine to give less gas as I lean it out almost. Not sure. I'm gonna try to get the afr print outs from the dyno on monday and get the exact #'s on it so I can post that, it might be helpful to you guys in helping my find out my freakin' problem!

Check your freekin wiring on the vafc before you have a stroke.lol go to the apexi website. they have a wiring update. connect the blue vtm signal wire on the apexi. do it now! go get a flashlight.j/k. ;D they do have an update though, with a much clearer wiring diagram.

I have the S-AFC, and I recheck all the wires last night and everything is good. As for the MAP sensor, there is nothing in the instructions that talk about that?!?! I'm actually thinking something is wrong with my 450 injectors or wiring, I think my car is staying in Open loop giving it too much gas 24/7.

are you sure you're set to 06 in, 06 out for the sensor?
