watching my voltage of the map sensor @ around 10.something psi the voltage will peak but my boost will go up 2-3 more psi. I run the turboedit rom in my pm6 and i guess it doesn't have the MAP sensor CEL code in there anymore. or it has been modified to not be totally ------- retarded like the stock honda map CEL's

Does the stock ecu retards when hit with positve boost?

as far as I know as soon as the stock ECU sees boost it goes into safe mode (and throws an engine light)

a stock ecu running stock code will freak out when it sees a posative manifold preasure.

it'll go into limp mode; run real rich and retard the timing im sure.

Runs like real ---- when it does this, yes. I have hit the ECL for the ECU seeing boost - its not pleasant. The car runs like serious ---- :(

You can still turn your car off while you're rolling.. Put it in neutral, turn the key to *ACCESSORY ON*, don't turn it all the way back (OFF) to where you can take it out, otherwise, your steering wheel will lock. Then just start it up again, and rev match the RPM to whatever gear you're going to throw it in.. and wa-la. No more CEL.
