rewired fuel pump?
well im bored and i've got a good amount of liquor in me and its early in the morning. so what else is there to talk about!?
so as i was saying...
i rewired my fuel pump this weekend. because i had nothing better to do. i began by testing to see which wire was positive (power +12v) and i had no luck. the pump was only showing 100mV went it was on...hardly enough to run you would think? but in anycase i rewired it, with a seperate relay running directly off the battery. the pump is much louder now and i would assume it will work much better. the car is no turbo yet...maybe someday. it's a walbro 255lph and i wired it up with 10gauge wire. im pretty impressed with how much it improved the voltage delivered to the pump and you can definatly hear it now.
so...i was wondering who else rewired their pumps, and what they thought about it. yea....
