Reasons for blowing ECU fuses?

Reasons for blowing ECU fuses?
After installing my turbo last night, on the first test drive we popped an ECU fuse, and I am not sure why.
It only blew one, replacing it seems to have solved the issue.
So I was wondering what sort of issues can usually cause this in this sort of setup.
p28 ecu, socketed running crome, same ECU I used with my last turbo setup, never had a problem with it.
450cc injectors, resistor box.
possibly a bad resistor box? I got one with the outer plug on it so I had to do zero soldering, just swap out the 4 pins in the dummy plug into the resistor box plug and loop the 5th wire back into the dummy plug.
also, i havent blown any more fuses, but I don't know if thats cause I fixed one of the problems, or because i only had a 20amp to put in til i get to the parts store to get more 15amps

a wire grounding out and pulling too much power through the power wires to the ecu... even though there should be protection on the board.
a blown transistor that, for some reason, is grounding out and pulling current rather than providing infinite impedance..
really the only reason would be something grounding out.... either internal or external. vague, but that's the best I can come up with.

ok i made sure the resistor box wires were good, and i re-did the ecu jumper
now i can decel without tossing cel flickers and cel's but it did try to come on for a millisecond a couple times... maybe thats just o2 sensor code from all the oil in the exhaust? ill get the new turbo on as soon as the rain stops and try again.
