Reading My Wideband (lc-1) HELP!!!!
ok so the other night i get my car running with the turbo and all and this is my set up:
i am using the Final.Bin for Crome from http://www.-------------/ as my basemap for now and i have a LC-1 Wideband. it says it for a .50 trim t3/t04e at 8-10 psi and im only at seven. i am using a P28
T4/to4e .57 trim
Lovefab shorty
Tial WG 7lbs
3inch DP to 2.5 in exhaust (for now till i get get my 3 inch)
450cc Bluetops
P28
stock fuel pump
ETC
ok, so heres the story...
last night i burnt the chip, started it ran good, drove it around to leaks, no leaks. then i hooked up my laptop to read my AF. i am using the LM Datalogging system that come with the LC-1. And it said that i was running a little lean at about 11.2 or so so i added about +7 thought from 3500-8000 with my vafc2. and then i ran at about 11.7-12 ish. no tonight, i hook it up see how it is running, and now(same settings as last night) it started reading 10.8 ish, so i added more fuel with the VAFC2 up to about +13, tested it, and it was at 10.2
so i put it down to +5 on the VAFC and now its at 10.8-11.2 ish in boost. so how should i read this... seems as if i lower the fuel, it makes it richer?? or am i completely off on this whole idea... i dont really want to drive it around in boost and run lean(which it seems like i am)
and i read about the calibration you must do on the LC-1 for it to read correctly, and if someone could clear that up for me that would be awomse!!!
thanks agian for reading this long *** thread

oh, and my Wideband is mounted about 3-4 inches from my turbo on my downpipe... if that helps with anything...

Re: Reading My Wideband (lc-1) HELP!!!!
i would hardley consider 11.2 lean....also when using when using the vafc when you put in the + amount your adding fuel hence the +. are you sure you dont have rich and lean mixed up
rich< scale >lean
8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 18 19 20
rich< scale >lean
8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 18 19 20

yeah, i just had the two mixed up... :P
and to answer your question, im using the vafc to add/ take away fuel so i dont always have to pull out my chip when i want to chage a setting on crome... it just makes it easier for me.

Re: Reading My Wideband (lc-1) HELP!!!!
well i had my vafc2 on the car before i boosted, so i just burnt the new map on the chip, put it in, and i adjust the fuel that it needs or whatnot though my vafc instead of taking the chip out and burn and then test it again.
ok, sometimes when i idle there is some white smoke comming from my car and some white smoke when i have it it gear and let off the gas.... is that because it is still running lean?? af ratio is about 12 AR... what is the AR that is ideal for boost?? i thought it was 11.7 or something...
thanks
