id there a write-up and parts list on this somewhere?

interested...

Sorry I have to quote myself...

Part List with #'s would be great and where did you buy that screen?

Re: Project: LM-1

I got the screen at Mouser for $13.36 + shipping
http://www.mouser.com/index.cfm?&han...d&N=0&crc=true

You'll need two DB-25 Female connectors: @ 0.75 each
http://www.allelectronics.com/cgi-bi...25S&type=store

1 male DB-25 Male connector @ 0.69 each
http://www.allelectronics.com/cgi-bi...5SC&type=store

2 Hoods to make things look nice and neat
Plastic @ 0.39 each
http://www.allelectronics.com/cgi-bi...25H&type=store

Metal @ 0.95 each
http://www.allelectronics.com/cgi-bi...5HM&type=store

A few feet of ribbon cable @ 0.28 a foot (get what you think you need, plus some extra)
http://www.allelectronics.com/cgi-bi...-20&type=store

I bought my ---- at radio shack and spent 5x as much. ------- asshats

I improved my soldering skills exponentially while working on this thing. One thing I definitly learned. Flux OWNZ. I'll never solder w/o it again. Its like magic goo.

I've never really used flux...maybe i should give it a try. Although it only takes me about 15 - 20 minutes now to desolder an OBD0 rom, remove it and solder a socket back in cleanly.

Thanks for the parts list...I have an LM-1 and might try this as well. :)
