It goes like this. Battery -> Buy a potentiometer with a **** from radio shack -> pin 12 on the ecu.

Don't try to hide the truth behind sarcasm. I know that you know this is a very cheap, reliable alternative to a complicated fuel controller. I'm sure you can back up this data.

not trying to lower myself to your level but half of you guys are dicks, all i did was ask a simple question and ask for a diagram or instructions, not to outlandish to ask for. Not everyone knows everything about everything, in fact maybe half of you don't know and hide behind your stupid *** comments instead of helping a fellow person out. All I wanna do is get my car running and running right, i don't need all the bullshit in between from a bunch of ********. If you wanna help me, help. If not go ---- yourself! TIA

I can back up the fact you are a ------- fool.

Voltage dividers to spoof MAP signal is a CRAP idea and renders linearity of the MAP output into CRAP.

When I did it, before there was boost code, I did it right. I reregulated MAP sensor input to 3.1 volts and rescaled fuel and ignition mappings to reflect the rescaled MAP signal, which allowed me to correct the ludicrous ignition advance found in AFC and other fuckstick hackjob attempts at blowing up engines due to ignorance, which people think is okay because instead of ------- thinking about what is going on for one microsecond they can just say "but I didn't know" and that excuses their ------- around for hours on end hunting parts assembling circuit installing it and calibration and fiddle ------- around to no avail because thirty seconds of applied intellect is too strenuous.

My MAPhack required a chip burner to set fuel and ignition mappings where they needed to be, and if you have that in this day and age there is no excuse not to run boost code and throw the Radio Shack circuit in the garbage.

There are writeups, by me, on both MAPhack and AFC ignition advance on pgmfi.org and HT respectively - there is even a subforum for the MAPhack. Go use a search function and learn something covered in great detail five years ago, instead of wasting our time with this.

PS - you n00bs wouldn't get flamed if you didn't post this ---- in GD when it belongs in the engine management forum. You n00bs first responsibility to HMT is to make an intro thread complete with pics of your cars and more importantly ****, but even if you tried to create one I'm sure you'd fail and ---- that simple task up, too.

You obviously missed the sarcasm of the post. I'm running megasquirt on my car, so I do know a little bit about EFI.
