PLX M-300 WB replacing stock o2 Questions
I just got my new wide band and i am hooking it up in the place of my stock narrow band o2. The question that i have is, I want to data log the WB A/R But in the instructions you only hook up the narrow band back to the ECU and the wideband is in the display. I have a chiped ecu with a datalogg heatrer in it with a usb port. So how do i log the WB A/R's?
Thanks for the help

Is the o2 sensor line you're referring to different from the one that scales the wideband down to a narrowband reading to satisfy the ecu if you don't wanna disable the heater/closed loop?

Re: PLX M-300 WB replacing stock o2 Questions
I thought that the wire that goes from the WB to the ecu was narrow band so the ecu wont throw a CEL. I want to log the WB readings not the narrow band. Am i looking at this wrong? Being that the signal is coming from my WB will the ECU see that as narrow band but log the WB readings?

Re: PLX M-300 WB replacing stock o2 Questions
Ok so you hook the wb to d14 at the ecu. What wb wire? I hooked up the grey analog wire from the wb. Is that the one that you are talking about? There is also a white wire and I don't know what that goes to. Now when you disable the o2 heater in uberdata, does that make it so your ecu does not read the o2 sensor? I hooked up 2 10ohm 10watt resistors to the o2 heater wires like it says to on the PLX website. The resistors got really hot and it set off a CEL for the o2 heater. So i just pluged in my old o2 sensor to the stock harness and unhooked the resistors.

Yes the analog output wire from the wb is the one you wire to the ecu. If you want to eliminate your narrowband o2 then disable the o2 sensor heater and disable closed loop. Then you'll run open loop 24/7, just reading your fuel tables. I'm not familiar with the plx widebands, but it depends on what the white wire is for and where you're wiring everything up. I have no idea about the resistor thing.

kinda old thread bump.
the white wire is the wb linearanalog output, the gray is the narrowband anolg output. those resistors that it came with are capacitors that "filter electronic noise" for better dataloging readings. the closer you put them to the ecu the better.
