Default please help guys!!!!!

I have a 93 civic n/a d15b7l,new rings, head gasket,junkyard head(bash me now)pm3-11.My car will not run unless the ignition is advanced like crazy!I mean all bolts taken out and the dizzy is held on with a pair of Vice grips!I also have to give it just a little bit of throttle to get crunk.Please help anything you may know will help....THANKS

Sounds like the cam timing is off 1 or 2 teeth. Reset the cam timing and then see if you can get the dizzy to work correctly.

sorry it took so long to get back....my cam will not line up right its either 1 tooth before or one tooth after where it needs to be!I think maybe the cam and head was from an obd0 civic....was the groove for the cam or dizzy at a different angle then on obd1? Also the car will not idle below 1grand.....if i make it it just dies! If I adjust the timing while its runing it slowly dies down.Oh and one more thing its taking for ever to get started when its warmed up,im talking full throttle 10 to 12 turns.thanks for any help
