Places to get ZIF sockets? looks like moates will be down a while

I just use one generic dip socket on the board, and havnt had any trouble with these. It clears the 74hc373 fine. It easy to unlatch it with your fingernail.

really? i use to use those, and i never used a dip socket at all with them, just moutned them straight to the board, now i use the big screw down 3m zifs, those things are the bomb, they love the ostrich and romulators and have no problem closing on them. the black ones above won't close on an ostrich at all if i recall.

Yeah I have a few of those 3M ZIF's from you Kevin and I liike them as well.
