hmmmmm.... i want to know if you can tune in the 02 disabled bin and then just copy/paste it into ng48 ....that would be SWEEET!

it's pretty tricky tuning part throttle/cruising and idle in closed loop, but tuning boost isn't too hard b/c you're usually at full throttle anyways.

Rory, since I havent been able to play with your BIN personally yet on my car...do you tune your car on your O2 disabled BIN and then when done put those maps back in a normal NG48 BIN? Or does that ---- ---- up?
I just run with the O2 disabled at all times. I have a TD04H that likes to spool up a fairly significant amount of boost at part-throttle and I've seen afrs in the 16:1 neighborhood at 5 psi before with the O2 sensor mucking around.

The only downside I can think of is that the ecu won't keep things stoich on its own while cruising, idling, etc. As long as you tune these areas, it becomes a non-issue.

What I thought...I always hated looking at my wideband when partial throttle boosting :-\

Yeah, it's not a very comfy feeling. ;)

Amazingly enough, my car has survived approx. 18k miles of that sort of crap and it's not showing any signs of leaking, smoking or other badness.

On a very related note, I found something cool today. I think you'll like it.
