Sounds like a bad burn or maybe intermitent connection issues on a solder joint.

sounds like you don't have the right obd2 conversion harness. your car is obd2a...99-00 is obd2b and they are slightly different with some wire locations. did you order an obd2a specifically?

sounds like the exact same thing I went through, car would start and rev until 1500rpm, then it would drop to 1200 and right back to 1500 again, over and over until you gassed it enough to get by that point. it's definately an iac or iac wiring problem.

what ecu are you running? what rom editor are you using? how did you make your basemap?
