hey whats going on guys, i am new here......readiness codes usually pass in a 20-40 min drive, most cars can pass without having them all ready. I think ny state goes back two years, so if its 2009, then 2007 and up can have one readiness code not ready. If it is 2007-1996 then you can have two readiness codes not ready. You can check readiness codes with a cheap 50 dollar obd2 scanner. Hope this helps a little.

OBD2b FTL. For OBD2A its just a plug in at idle, no mileage necessary.

I'm also pretty sure its not 100-200 miles...more like 50 from what i can recall

It's probably more like 50 miles for the "monitors" to set. I never thought of removing the spring from the wastegate and installing the stock injectors! Good idea!

you should check out cheap scanners at autozone etc. find one that reads the monitors and just make sure they all clear.

my bro ended up using a piggyback manager on the stock ecu just because of emissions, tho.

No, you would just have to drive it to set the monitors and go back to have it tested again. No big deal.

And when they say it takes 150 to 200 miles, thats only if you drive like a grandma. Go beat on your car, get the cat and o2 nice and warm and it will set the monitors asap. Here in WI, older than 01' can pass with 2 monitors unset and 01' and newer can pass with 1 unset.
