obd1 vtec dizzy

Default obd1 vtec dizzy

is anyone using a non vtec obd1 distributor on a vtec?
i know you have to cut the one lobe off. i am having a hard time finding a obd1 vtec for my b16 so i was going to use the one of my ls motor, but someone told me that when vtec kick in the tack wouldnt work.so is he right?thanks for any help you can give me.

As long as it matches your obd... If you are obd1, any obd1 or 2 distributor should work, as long as it bolts up. If obd0, get an obd0 distributor.

the car is obd 1 so you are saying an obd 1 or 2 will work?

Yes, OBD1 and OBD2 are interchangable.. you just need to change the clips.
