9000 is where most dohc vtec motors stop

Repeat only a b16a with its little *** crank has the ability to make power in the high 9000 range and even then it will be a very aggresive build
11,000 carrying power is downright ------ a lie its not a f'in street bike

There was a local with a typearrr, boosted, revving to aparently 12.5k, he shifted @ 11k with me in the car, but I cant really tell, couldnt see his tach...anyways, dyno may not make power that high, but is still pulling up there....and his third gear could top out higher then a b16 in 5th probably....a non power related advantage.

But yeah a N/A motor with no timing variation or anything. It is like 5,250rpm I think.
