Default obd0 y8

If I use the y8 and keep obd0 and turbo edit, where would I need to set the timing? The y8 or a6? I've heard that all the timing issues have been worked out but can you get the maps for turbo edit? I'm pretty new to tuning so I apologize for my ignorance.

check and see what TDC is on each motor, i believ TDC on 1 is 16deg and the other is like 18deg, find out 4 sure and set your timing from there! im sure a little less timing never blew up a motor, but to much has!
