Default OBD0 to OBD1 help.

I have used the search. I have my 90 CRX with the A6. I am converting to OBDI at Chris's recommendation. I have a P05 ecu on order. I am getting the conversion harness from Chris. My questions are:

Do all SOHC OBD I distributors work? I have the A6 now but am going to be using a Y8. If I get a non vtec OBDI distor can it work in my A6 and the Y8?

Can I just use the 1 wire O2 I have now or should I convert the P05 to VTEC and use the 4 wire O2?

Any other wiring issues I should be aware of before starting this? I am just going to get the distro harness from Chris too.

Thanks
David

i believe the y8 distributor will work and mount with 2 bolts. I know that a 92-95 non-vtec distributor will mount on your a6 with 3 bolts (tried it myself before). i'm running a po5 chipped in a 91 crx hf with obdo-obd1 conversion but haven't done the vtec conversion and yes i am running the 1 wire o2 because i didn't feel like runinng the extra wires for a 4 wire and kept it simple.

I know the A6 distro works on the Y8 because Hotrex did it. I'll just get an OBDI non-vtec distro.

I think the z6 dizzy is the only odd ball one that wont work on a a6 or y8 head. And who runs a O2 sensor anyways? massive sensor disable

How about the Y8? Josh said he used an A6 on a Y8 head with no problems. I just bought everything to swap over. Just waiting on the parts to come in.

Josh was 100% sure that he had the A6 distro in CRX with his built Y8. I will end the rumor soon enough!
