Default o2 sensors

hi
As far as I know my honda CRX does not have an o2 sensor however im looking to hook one up to a air/fuel gauge, what i'd like to know is how universal are the o2 sensors? can i just take one off say a prelude and put it on my 1.6i CRX.
thanks in advance

Tell me again why you wouldn't have an O2 sensor? Granted, I've never inspected a 1g CRX, but guranteed you have one on a 2g.

Do you have a 1g, or 2g CRX?

i think i read somewhere that some european crx's dont have o2 sensors. if djnikko is from europe, then that would explain why he doesn't have an o2 sensor.

I have read something about this too, as far as im aware my 2G CRX has no O2 sensor. I have a HF manifold with turbo and have noticed the HF manifold has a hole suitable for o2 sensor location. do all honda o2 sensors have the same thread? I was then going to hook this up to a air/fuel gauge.
cheers

yes i am preety sure they all have the same thread. but you can't use that hole. readings will be innacurate(in theory) i use the o2 housing right about the down pipe on my t-25

I can't see how they got away with not installing O2 sensors - fuel mileage would be crap without them.

No clue on the 85-87 EFI stuffs, but all 88+ Hondas have O2. Some 88-89 euro Hondas didn't have catalytic converters - but they all had O2s.

i have a HF manifold on my turbo CRX, can i use the hole that is provided on these manifolds for the o2 sensor or do i have to put the sensor in the downpipe after the adaptor plate and turbo?

maybe your o2 is under the engine on the exhaust pipe there.
