no fuel or spark

no fuel or spark
im not getting any spark or fuel. i pulled the plugs. there was no fuel on them. when i turn the key on with the fuel line unhooked. i get no fuel threw there. unless i jump the wires on the main relay. ive swithched out the main relay. with a good one still no start. this all started after i hooked up my vtec sylenoid & pressure switch wires. but i also put the ecu in its little cubby hole. i rechecked everything i did. it all looks good. i decided to pull the dizzy cap. and i noticed it was pretty rusty under there. a under statement. also a crack.. i replaced the dizzy. still nothing.
but when ever i unplug conector D on the ECU the car will run. the main relay will click and the fuel pump will prime as soon as its unpluged. so what in conector D would cause this? it will idle & rev just like theres nothing wrong.

Re: no fuel or spark
i turned the ignition on. so i could move the wires around. to see if there was a short in the harness. with the ignition on. i was going to switch out the ECU with another P28. thats when i heard the pump. i unpluged IACV and the TPS to see if they had some kind of short. but stopped there. i may do some more unpluging of stuff in the engine bay. to see if i can get it to prime with the plug in. im thinking some sensor or alternator is shorted out.

Re: no fuel or spark
Here use this. this pinout gives you voltage and stuff so it's a little better to trouble shoot with. Ive had some weird stuff happen in the past with ecu pinouts I accindentaly hooked a wideband ground to D2 and it would pop my brakelight fuse!!

Re: no fuel or spark
i figured it out! when i was pulling the battery tray out. i knocked off the negative battery conector. in the process of putting it back on. some of the wire splinters fell off into the engine harness plug. i did not see this. so i conected the plug. and a splinter made a connection between two terminals. and you ask why the plugs would be down there. cause i did a minor wire tuck. and relocated them under the battery tray. but she runs and the engine light is off.
