well I went out to radio shack and picked up everything I need for this other than the 5k ohm potentiometer, they didn't have one that goes on a circuit board, they had one that has 3 loops for the ends rather than pegs and it was bigger than the peg legged ones, can I use the big one or do I have to find something else?

if you build it please post how well it works. is the part that radio shack has, it has 3 legs comming off a knob you turn right? just solder wires on to those, then to the board.

i forgot if it is the same value it will work. it would make it nicer for mounting and tunning. so if it works that would save me some money thats what hmt is all about

I'm only making it to practice soldering on pc boards for when I put together a batronix 3.3, I'm not boosted anyways so I won't really be able to tell you how well it works. I'll try to find my camera to take more picts, but it's in storage so you probably won't get picts until next year, but they'll be good ones, more detailed then the ones on the link above.
