Default New to crome and having problems getting a basemap to work

Ahhh where to start . Ok to make a long story short i have switched my crx over to obd1 finally. This is my first time messing with crome and i am having problems getting a basemap to work. I have tried 2 that i made and a few from Xenocron's bin directory. I have had no luck with any of them. Every time i put the bin to the ecu, verify it, then turn the key and wait for the check engine light to go off. The check engine light never goes off and i never hear the fuel pump prime. So needless to say the car will not start.

After so many times of trying this i unplugged the obd0 to obd1 conversion harness and plugged in my old pm6 which has my old tune on there. I turn the key and the check engine light goes off, i also here the fuel pump prime. The car didn't start though, although i didn't expect it to with the obd1 distributor.

What the ---- am i doing wrong. Here is my basemap i made. Whats wrong with it?

It is a homemade harness and i did doubt it, but i have checked it over and over and over. I can not find anything wrong with it. I just hate to spend the money on a new one and then it still doesn't fix my problem. You seriously don't think its anything im doing in crome? Did you happen to take a look at the basemap i made?

Damn you! I found 4 wires that were mixed up, and two of them were grounds as you were saying. :1 Haven't had time to mess with the car though, that will be tomorrow. I hope the damn thing starts so i can start tuning this thing.

Ok four days later and i still have not got my car to start . I said ---- it and went and bought a brand new boomslang harness. I now can uplaod a bin and the engine light will go off. Also the fuel pump primes. BUT for some reason for a little bit i was getting a code 21, which is vtec spool soleniod. Why when every basemap i have tried has had the vtec disabled? ( im running an a6 )

Anyways on to what i have found out! I pulled my fuel rail with the injectors still attached and plugged in. Im not getting fuel out of the injectors. Not one little squirt no matter what i do. The fuel rail stays pressurized though. The only way i have gotten fuel out of the injectors is pull the jumper off of J1, which means the ecu is running on the stock map. Correct? Also when i pull the jumper off of J1 i get a solid cell.

This whole time i have been using my ostrich. For some reason i was thinking it went bad, so i went and bought a chip burner. Well i now know for a fact my ostrich isn't broke. I checked it using the chip burner. I also have now burnt a few chips and tried them. Still i get no fuel.

Im pretty damn sure i am making my basemaps right. I have followed Xenocron's right up time after time. I am now thinking my ecu is messed up. I don't know. Help

Its an A6, read up.

Sounds like you might have some bad solder on it from the chipping. Did you chip it yourself? Maybe just go through it and make sure all the soldering is good. All it takes is one trace to not be soldered well for the ECU to not work 100%. I know the some of them are really large and hard to get the solder on the right.
