Default Need some answers about obd0 chipped ecu's

I just joined this site and I was hoping for someone to give me some pointers on what ecu I could use to be able to have chipped ecu with vtec control. The only ecu I have heard of is the xenocron one but on the site it says non-vtec, but it also says one wire vtec. What exactly does that mean? Thanks

I believe you still have to use a relay unless you use a ps9 ecu.

al, take mt advice. convert to odb-1. the opportunities are endless

parts list:

ecu $25-$120 depends on where you get it
obd conversion harness $50 shipped on ebay
4 wire o2 sensor $0-75 new or used, you choose
misc roll of wire $5
black tape $2

i can walk you throught the whole process. you do it once, you can do it a million times. once your obd1, you can do anything with ease

say no to h0ndata. if you plan on using h0ndata, i will not help you

if you upgrade to obd1 you will be doing the mofi conversion and you will need a new intake manifold and distributor

You need an obd1 distributor as well to convert to OBD1
