need info on p13 for a h22

this isn't necessarily a turbo engine managment question, but i figured i would get a good response over here. I am helping my friend chip his p13 ecu for his all motor h22 and i'm having trouble finding a program that I can use to tune it with. I searched and uberdata won't work with a p13. Will crome work? If not what options does he have other than buying a p72 or something?

I think Crome is starting to support some P13 stuff.

You should check out their forum on the PGMFI boards.

The only other one I know that does heavy P13 stuff is Smooth1 aka HRtuning who is the creator of Neptune.

yea i posted over in the crome forum on pgmfi. Hopefully i'll get a good response. Do you have to do anything different when chipping them?

just get a p72 or add iab's to a p28. i tried using a p13 and messing around with different stuff and didn't get far. blundar posted a very good h22 stock basemap based off of the uberdata p72 code. i used it on a buddy's h22 with a p28 with iab's added with some pretty good results.

nice. Did you use those maps on an all motor h22 or turbo? I'm looking for the closest to stock maps I can find for his car because right now it is basically just a stock h22 in an accord with an intake. If not I can always tune it a little with my wideband. Also are the IAB's absolutely necessary? He sais he doesn't even have them hooked up right now. He sais apparantely they aren't really needed. Personally I don't know anything about them because i'm a d series guy.

no, the iab's aren't neccessary, so you could use any vtec ecu to run the engine, that will make it a little easier to find an ecu. and yes, the h22 map was for a stock h22 with 340cc injectors that blundar dyno tuned. i made a boost map out of it with great success and have also used it on a stock h22 and it ran great.

I believe they have an Eprom to desolder and replace...but not 100% sure.
