Need help!!!
ok.. I have tried to contact people on hmt about reprogramming my ecu for turrbo edit... etc.. I have little knowledge on hot to do this.. If anyone can help me or have a better; easier way to correct fuel and ignition.. please let me know... I was also thinking of the afc hack but that does not retard timing... that is what the btm is for right??
Please anyone help me out so I can get my setup on the way b4 February...
Thanks,

Re:Need help!!!
I think most people on here would opt for using a rom editor such as turbo edit and burning yer own chip, thats what i decided simply because it was the cheapest option. Do you have a reprogrammable ECU and an e(E)prom burner? BTW what engine is it for?

Ghetto - Only just got it all together today gonna go give it a run tomorrow should be fun
jdmcrx1 - ok well . . . what do you need to know about tuning? difficult question depends what you want to do, do you understand the theory behind turbo's, dont want to sound patronising btw

Re:Need help!!!
that's cool, surfer. I am running or will be running a 14b one of stealthmode's manifolds and oil line kits, 450's, custom piping and dsm bov. 1.6L non-vtec. stock internals.. looking at running between 7-10 psi. what o u mean by the turbo theory.. do I know how they work... yes.. I do work on cars for a living. I have some experience w/ diy setups.. I had one on my crx but now I have a civic hatch 91, obd0. I think my ecu is the pm6.. not sure.. it is the stock ecu. if tha helps any... heh... I am really new to the self programming and tuning industry.. I would love to learn but need advice and the correct equipment.. if there is anything else u need to know let me know.. if any of u are able to reprogram ecu's and would do one for me I will pay for it.. also I would want to know how and what u did... and what I should look for for performance and adjustment setings.. etc...

Re:Need help!!!
I'm fairly new to this myself well if you are gonna play about a bit get an e(E)prommer so you can do your own chips if you dont wanna, ghettodyne came with a boost bin for a pm6 with fuelling for 450's and i can burn it on to a chip for you for the cost of the chip and postage although I live in England which makes everything really expensive. . .
