wow that sucks i thought turbo edit would work for me

thats all i hear about turbo edit this turbo edit that, apparently there is either alot of misinformation ------ around honda-tech but everybody there is recommending it for my setup and you say it wont work for me.

I think what jason is trying to say is that he did not know the rpm scale of the highcam map at the time the program was written. The rpm scale within the code is the correct scale, something like 500 to 8500 if i remember correctly, it is just not displayed in TE.

All you need to do is take the low cam maps from the pr3, import them into the pm6 rom below your vtec point, then take the high cam maps and import them into the pm6 rom above your vtec point. Do this for both fuel and ignition.

For example, if you want your vtak point at 5000, import the low cam maps into the pm6 code below 5000 and import the high cam maps above 5000. Its as simple as that. Keep in mind that this will be a base map and some adjustment may be needed within the maps at the vtec point to smooth the transition.

You are going to have to use a v-afc or msd rpm activated swtich or some other means of activation for vtak.

If you are still having problems, I have a basemap pm6 rom with pr3 maps. You need to try this on your own first. If you don't try, you will never learn.

are you suggesting this because you dont want to help me? or is uberdata better to use? Is uberdata going to be something i can take to my tuner and have them program me a chip with?

I would suggest using TE to avoid converting to obd1. Either way, if the tuner knows anything about tuning software they should be able to figure it out.
