interesting idea JD. I am meeting with a romanian and peurto rican in a dark parking lot sunday night to play with far east tuning concepts, resistors and some bessoted voltage clamp, ALL AT ONCE

i only need it to be 25psi out of a holset worth of goodness
one more retard tells me they have a maf rated for "at least 21 psi" and I will leave the internet for good

found a 5.1v and 4.7v zehner diode in my box of leftovers
the 5.1 did nothing (testing it)
the 4.7 works
I tested by doing second gear rippers... since my MAF stopped loving boost over 10 psi I would have 100% traction in second, I was logging afrs, hammered it up a hill and slid sideways, the AFRs were no longer 9.0, but like 14.0 so I immediately let off and pulled over to burn another chip. Worked on it for about 10 minutes now I have ~11-13Afr in boost up to 20psi and 6000rpm, then the last 5 psi or 1000rpm whichever comes first it dips to 9's again. So, a work in progress, but, PROGRESS! Good times, I'm liking this whole "thinking" thing I've done once or twice with this car.

Now, considering a 400-800ohm resistor prior to the diode. It may give me that last 5psi/1000rpm, and take my HG and rods with it.

when i was in highschool a buddy of mine got a 3000gt vr-4, i came over to help him work on it. by the time i got there he had the maf in his hand with pliers ripping out the honeycomb.

he thought i could flow more air that way.

i still make fun of him, even tho he has an 11 second eclipse

Removing the lower honeycomb on a 1g dsm gets rid of fuel cut, but i dont think that will work for 2g/3kgt MAF.
