How do I used this thing to datalog? First time ever try tuning my own car.. help please.

 

what program are you trying to use?

freelog? crome pro?

sweet. so I just plug the HULOG to the ECU and it should start logging?

 

I'm using crome 1.4R5 enable the the script from freelog to datalog and did the checksum ----.

when I do the sanity check.. and it connects and tells me that Cui's datalog or whatever is NOT detected..

Anyone had this problem? when I connect.. it only reads TPS = -11 and Ignition ADVANCe = -6 and just starts the countdown..

To make freelog work with 1.4+ versions of crome, you need to do what is posted in that link.

Also, there are no drivers to install with the hulog/hondalog. All you do is plug it up, set the com port/baud/latency..etc to match with the settings in freelog and thats it.

 

yes.. I did all that and saved the setting.. the problem is that freelog doesn't DETECT "Cui's data logger." I keep checking the sanity check and loopback test. loopback test fails and sanity check connects and says Cui's data logger NOT detected.

 

Did you add RTP plus datalogging to the ROM when you made the basemap?

Also, there is a script out there to be able to choose between the DL v. 1.9 and DL v. 2.5.
