missing link

Re: missing link
a fish tank check valve is the cheapest and easiet, if its OBD-O, if its OBD-1 you need an actual missing link, BUT
why would you not want your MAP sensor to actually see vacuum and boost, unless you intend on going above 12psi.
i mean if the MAP doesnt see real pressure, how do you expect it to correct for any fuel?
i use to use one, till i found out it was making my tune go to ----

A missing link still allows the MAP to see vac, just not boost. Same with the check valves. They are just one-way valves that bleed off positive pressure, but allow vac.
I'm ASSuming he's using an FMU and that's why he needs check valves/missing link. You don't use them with anything else. :1
