Default map sensor plugs

I'm gonna start playing with my motorola 2.5bar sensor tomorrow morning... my question stems from the fact that ive got a 93 del sol S with a SOHC zc/z6 (yes! just rebuilt from recent ringland carnage, now with VX pistons). The original motor, d15b7 used the fire wall mounted map sensor. When i swapped motors i used a EX harness which has a throttle body mounted map sensor. i just plugged them both in and hadn't messed with it since.

well tonight i found out that my motor runs off the fire wall mounted map sensor that has color coded wires that don't correspond with diagram

Is it correct for me to assume that even though the fire wall mounted unit has differ colors i can match up the wires according to position on the map sensor plugs??

I dont really understand your question about the wire colors...

But here is waht you do...
1) Get a DVOM (digital volt/ohm meter)
2) Splice into each of the three pins on the stock map sensor. Dont cut it off in case you ever need to go back to stock.
3) Plug in the wiring to the stock map sensor and turn your key to the ON position, engine off.
4) Find out which wire is 5v, 0v(ground), and which is the reference (Somewhere between 0-5v) using the DVOM
5) Hook pin 1 of the Motorola 2.5 bar to the Reference wire, Pin 2 to the ground, and pin 3 to the 5v. cut the other three pins off the map sensor and then tape or shrink wrap everything up.
