iv been playing around with the map and it looks as if it leans it self out when I change it to 2 bar from 1.75

D15b7, its not really worth it for you to go through all that for the extra few hp that the bottom end probably wont like anyway.

then i would stay where you are. wait till you are ready to do the swap before turning up the boost. 10psi on a stock d doesnt last too long

Re: map richening question

if you are only going to 13 psi, and you have the motor to blow...here is what you do.

leave your stock map on there with your current tune

for every PSI you are upping the boost, take the last TWO boost columns and up them 9% for every PSI increase. So if you are going from 11 psi to 13 psi, add 18% or multiply those numbers by 1.18.

for every PSI you are upping the boost, take out ONE degree of timing for safety in those same last two columns

the map sensor wont be able to read that high, and then OF COURSE double check with a wideband, these are just recommendations

if you want to do it RIGHT, get a GM 2 Bar or Motorola 2.5 Bar Map sensor and retune properly
