SO he says fine go with you buddy so you both can get your cars fucked up than hung up on me that POS.
The dyno packages I do through Blueridge are $500 turbo/$400 NA. When sitting down with BRMS to work the deal out, all the research on my end consisted of logging onto T1 R&D's site and seeing what Tony Palo charged. Cool, that's my market.

Keep in mind Howard at RLZ is a little over an hour away doing $200 dyno tunes. I didn't ever take his price scaling into consideration... he's a great tuner but my point is I could care less, he can have the $5 market. His dad is worth a couple tens of millions and he doesn't have to worry about feeding a family, I do. If I was rich like that, or single and kidless, I'd buy a dyno and do things exactly how he does them. The reality is I'm not.

Last guy who threw Howard's pricing in my face I asked why he was even talking to me? I'm booked 1-2 weeks in advance, I'm obviously doing something right, so don't punk me out if some other dude is so great (and a lot of other guys around here are great). I can understand why he got pissy with you, dude. At an average of 9 minutes per phone call I'd spend one to three hours a day on the phone talking to people if I ever answered my phone.

I agree, 100%

I'm not sure playing tuners off each other for price is the best way to go about it. You can certainly do that with parts...one part is a part is a part. But you cant really put a price on a tuner...I still think I'm too cheap for my area, which is why my prices are going up soon as well.
