looking for a Free ROM editor (VW BMW nissan mitsubishi ect..)
hi,
I have turbo edit, and im going do chiptune my civic d16z2 (same as d16a6). I run @4 psi with an FMU, so that sucks !
im going to chiptune a mini-me with another free romeditor.
now im currently building a HMTserupt @8psi for an AEE engine from a VW golf3.
Im using a digifant G60 ECU as a fuel/spark management system.
The digifant sucksballs, and im looking for a Free romeditor like turboedit, chrome ect...
help me out please

I downloaded tunerpro, but it doesnt seem to work. when I load a bin file from a honda ecu (PM6) nothing happens.
I cant find a tunerpro forum where I post problems and read about other peoples problems using tunerpro.
maybe there is something else just as easy to use as turboedit.

um probably for practice as his running car is a honda, and his project isn't
If i remember correct you need to write a definition file or somehting and then tunerpro will support basically any ecu.

are you trying to modify bins for the digifont?! You could try and load the bin on the stock chip inside the digifont and go to town with a hex editor. I havent tried it yet so I couldnt tell you if it works but there are rom-editors out there for the digifont but they are being protected by companies like auto-tech (********).
Dude I told you that digifont was a piece of ----.

not only digifant but all the VW are ----.
the car isnt finished yet. but wen the car is running, and there needs to be some ecu changes i would like to do that with a romeditor (a free one) my self
Once i have an universal romeditor, capable of tuning different ecu files, i can start chipping and chiptuning basicly every car.
in the netherlands there are a few companys specialized in chiptuning, but the sofware they use cost a few 1000 euro's, or they install a standalone unit.
