That would be my idea, make some kind of door to access the chip os i dont need to leave my ecu uncovered for everyone to step on while im tuning, which is slowly over a long period of time. Ussually try to burn a chip before i leave the house everyday.

There was someone selling that on ebay before. Clear ones with a cut out. Pretty soon there will be neon kits.

i'd rather 'impulsively' buy 30 more chips with the money i would have wasted on a piece of plexi glass for my ecu :P yeah, you know, you can see soooo much going on in there, you know, all the chips 'chipping', the processor 'processing', the capacitor's 'capaciting', high side switche's 'high side switching', and ostriche's 'ostriching', i love to watch all these component's hard at work, give's me a stiffy

sen a few people just cut a hole in the ECU cover and put a bunch of spacers on the board to raise the zif out the top of the ECU. There are just too many options that are better than that.

---- the hinge too. Just cut your metal one and hinge that.
