It runs fine with the jumper wire cut? ...on 450cc injectors? ..that's *** backwards, dude.

When you cut the jumper wire, you're renabling the stock code in the MCU, which is tuned for 240cc injectors. Throw some math at that, and for every time the ECU pulses an injector, it's pulsing flowing ~46% more fuel. Cutting the wire and your car runs "fine" means you have a problem somewhere.

..and last time I check, doing oil changes on some old man's Porsche where he brings it in to Goodyear where your brother works is not really being a "mechanic". If he was any sort of "mechanic" he'd understand the princple behind your injectors working when you return the ECU to stock (cutting the wire) and how the car should not run "fine".

Maybe your Civic is too exotic for him?

Look how completely useless and vague your first post was...it doesnt even look like you or your exotics mechanic brother put any lick of thought or work into your setup before posting this utterly rediculous question.

Kevin's basemaps are spot-on...I can vouch for this personally and he most certainly wouldnt leave J1 cut nor could it possibly get cut on its way to you by the post man or UPS guy.

Your car has issues...troubleshoot, solve them, open up a Helms manual, learn a little, do research and post clear and concise questions to well thought out questions and you wouldnt get ragged on.

ok i understand that the question should have had more to it. i swear that the wire was cut. im not blaming anyone im just sayin it was cut. i dont understand y the car does not run with the wire connected. the car runs with the wire cut so i do not no what to trouble shoot. the check engine light comes on when the car is in boost...cel-map sensor. so that means the chip is not working. idk. ill go through everything again.

Dude, your problem is that it "works" witht he wire disconnected.

Do you not understand that? The ECU is back to stock when you cut the wire. Meaning you have 240cc pulse durations on 450cc injectors. If your car wasn't broken, EVEN BEFORE worrying about the fact that the ECU solid CELs, your car is still FUCKED UP!

A stock ECU will not have a car "run fine" with 450cc injectors in it. I don't know what else to say.. Use a stock ECU with 450cc injectors will not run your car. Car, 450cc injectors, stock ECU, not run. if(ECU == "Stock") and (InjectorsSize > 240) then !carRun();

00100100 1001 010001 10001 1010101000 1010100 101010101 1001010 0101010100 ..got it?!

You have a problem somewhere BEFORE the ECU... fix that, then fix the ECU.
