Default lc1 connectivity

can the lc1 be connected to my laptop to use lmlogger without using the terminal plug? if not, can I just jury rig it by connecting two of the wires together or sticking in a headphone and shorting it out? my lm1 connected 100% easy through my USB-serial adapter but the LC1 never connects...hmm. Oh, and obviously, my dumbass lacks a legit terminal plug.

You really need the terminator plug in order for Logworks to read the serial data.

I am sure you can ghetto a phono plug to make it work.

I chopped off the end of a hedphone wire, grabbed the two wires inside the shielding, tied them together and presto
