board is a p28... 11FO-1500

the resistor j10 just below the "IPT" printed on the board. I need to know the values on it so I can replace it. Car wouldn't engage vtec and threw CEL's for code 21. Inspected and found that resistor on the board crispy and black

 

Replied on PGMFI as well, but J10 is a jumper wire. It has no value.

 

**** also check D11 Sounds like short and the D11 would be the first to go I believe.

 

well, i know what caused it actually i think but ill check it out. metal usb plug dangling into ecu from laptop while you're sitting in the car = bad.

 

What are the Colour Rings on it?

Can you Desolder it and read it with a multimeter?

If it gave an accurate reading, then it would function in the ECU. :P

If it is labeled J** then it is a jumper. 0ohm resistance

 

Ya didn't think of that. But if it's not burnt too bad, just read the bands.

 

bumble, it's j10, it's a single black band, it's not a resistor, it's a jumper wire.

 

yeah as of now the entire thing is crispy black.

also, i checked d11, its looks fine! yay
