Re:Injectors for boosted 99 EX

With the zex kit your going to need a whole new kit. Just sell your dry kit and buy a wet kit. Call it a $300 "upgrade fee".

The main reason for running a wet kit instead of a dry kit on a boosted is that the injectors are already "stressed" with the turbo, so adding more fuel through the injectors will just overload them with fuel presure. The wet kit eliminates this by injecting the gas via another nitrous type fogger nossle ( or through the same nozzle as the nitrous ).

Some other reasons ?
Fuel adamisses ( mixes with air ) better when injected into the Ic piping.

The extra fuel will also help cool the air like the nitrous does ( of course not as well ).

I'd love to try a 35 shot from a zex wet kit, but $600 and no ones used them/tested them, is the problems I have with it. No less I used to have a zex dry kit, and it kicked ass, until the bottle went dry, hehe...

Well, instead of goin through all the work, can i just hook up the N2O on the FMIC and use it like that. I kno NX has a FMIC set up, nothing spectacular, but sstill useful

well put 89dxhunchback, saved my ass from typing all that ---- ;). I don't know what the ---- I was saying in my last post, I must have been blinded by pain or some ----.. ---- it, not gonna correct the type-o's now.

Yeah, I forgot to mention about the timing retardation, but that kinda fits into that whole "engine mangement" thing that you are lacking on buddy. You are skating on thin ice for sure.

As far as running N2O on the front intercooler, I don't think that would be such a safe idea.. if you happened to rear end a pinto (which are ------- notorious for exploding on impact in the rear - ask me in a different post and I will explain that whole fucked up story) then you'd pretty much be a fireball. Water injection on the FMIC: cool, highly combustable fuel.. maybe not.

Ok, so screw the dry system, and lookin into getting the wet system. Im use i can call zex and just purchase the box, cuz zex doesnt use selenoids and ---- like that, its pretty simple. Or maybe just sell the N2O all together and just invest in some interals....

well i doubt he would be spraying down his ic while he was crashing into someone, and n2o isnt flammable the last time i checked

Re:Injectors for boosted 99 EX

you are correct, nitrous oxide is not flammable by itself, only increases the combustion of an existing fuel.

still, would you run that setup?

Do you think the dry nitrous system may have killed those 2 injectors?
