idle jumping

my idle has been messed up since i chipped and boosted my car. i never really cared, but its finally getting anoying. its doing a jumping up and down, only when fully warmed. i did a little research and found that it can be air bubbles, iacv, fiv?(something like that), timing, vac leak.

first off, could no air filter cause this???
second, timing. its on a basemap now. d16z6 chipped p28 w/p30 with boost and 450's.
also, it seemed to be a little better when i had my v-afc on there, and i added fuel.
if it is timing, witch way did you usually have to go with it? (advance/retard)
any help appreciated.

Have you tried adjusting your idle air screw on the throttle body?
Where in Indiana do you live? I'm in Covington KY and I'll tune your car for you on the cheap!! If you have a chipped ecu.

Soimetimes P30 code can cause wierd idling sometimes. Try P72 code.

OOOhhhhhhhhhh slamm1111!!!!!, Ehh that was caused by a melted vaccum line to my wg. A few hours driving around with the ostrich going and my Dave Leed style automotive stethiscope with longer hoses listenning for det. I can get it smoothed out. :6
