Default Idile dancing up and down from 1000-1500

I use crome to chip my frends B16. I only done changes to high fuel and ignition maps. I use LM-1 and LMA3.
But car works normaly on stock ecu and when I install p28 it starts to jump on idile from 1000 to 1500. Usualy after a hard driving. I do not understand why.
I use p30 as a base.

join pgmfi, under the crome section there is an idle resolution sticky.

goodluck, and if you do resolve your individual case, please post up

no its not how its SUPPOSED to be..just a lot of people suffer from idle issues. and they aren't all resolved by the same things. so read up, try a few things and let us know what works for you

I found a thread on pgmfi with increasing the resolution by ading another column so the 2,3 are for idile. I must test it to see if it works.

my b16 idled at 2k and i couldnt get the bitch to go down for anything. idle screw on TB didnt help. could only get it down maybe 200RPM. Took it to a buddy and he told me to check the Fast Idle Valve. Sure enough teh thing was ALL the way out. after screwing it back in and loctite the bitch i have my 1000rpm idle. it still jumps up and down but not like it used to. it jumps maybe 200rpm instead of the 1000 to 2000 jumps it was making.

yah its always a different fix for everybody. there are lots of factors so you need to get them to all play nice.

and isn't 1k idle a lil high? should be about 800 typically

best of luck
