Ultimately Stock Maps with a built in boost retard and an FMU are probably the safest and easiest route for this guy.

that way he gets a proper ignition retard in boost, no check engine lights for the map sensor, and he can let the FMU do his added fueling...

My biggest question is management: the car see's long periods of wot, and quite often banging off the rev limiter to pull through a corner. I'm not interested in chipping my ecu because I don't want to hook up to my computer. I'm getting some 450cc's will a vafc work on my car without vtec? This one? http://saskatoon.kijiji.ca/c-cars-ve...QAdIdZ30541255 I am quite interested in a smc, but I think I read that they don't like wot. I don't quite understand what a vafc does on a turbo car, does it tell the ecu to dump in less fuel with the 450cc's?
Or should I just use a fmu? 12:1? 10:1? I don't want to have fuel system problems after towing 8 hours to go to a race.
Any help or advise you guys have would be great. Thanks.

You really need to talk to Randy aka iceracercrx. You two would be peas in a pod.

So what I understand is I should run a chip that pulls out timing under boost, and that will recognize boost in the map sensor? Where do I get such a chip? Would it need to be tuned? The car has no VIN so I can't drive it, also I am not willing to pay for dyno time. And run an FMU with stock injectors? What rate FMU? Should I just save these pretty blue injectors for another project?
Thanks guys you've been alot of help so far.

is it even functioning right now ?

If you will pay for my plane ticket to and from I would be glad to tune it for free just to ride in that thing. That looks like a lot of fun. I got the tools.
